Swarovski Crystal Palace

Well, truly, no one can deny that 2006 is indeed the Year of the Chandelier. In fact, I don't know why I hadn't thought to document 2006's chandelier obsession before. Please, forgive me, it's time. So I was checking out one of my favorite blogs we-make-money-not-art and there it was, more proof of the Year of the Chandelier. The Swarovski Crystal Palace at Salone del Mobile 2006 is on point. Though Swavorski has been asking designers to re-imagine chandeliers for the last several years, this year, apparently they said, "hey guys, have at it, go nuts". The results are stunning.
