Antarctica and Iceland

Seems like these two places have been coming up a lot lately in my life, in between new friends taking trips to Antarctica to older friends getting Icelandic job offers, I've been thinking about them a lot. So I just read the story of Ernest Shackleton's voyage in the Endurance and bam! WOW! NO WAY! Also, check out this quote from wikipedia, "As the only uninhabited continent, Antarctica has no government and belongs to no country. Various countries claim areas of it but these claims are typically not recognized by others. The area between 90°W and 150°W is the only part of Antarctica, indeed the only solid land on Earth, not claimed by any country". As Doug's imported kicks say, DREAM SEEK!
And Iceland, really. Bjork? I am in a big Bjork phase apropos of nothing in particular, she is just cool. That is all I have to say about that, but maybe I will go to the store and buy a book about Iceland. It can't be all geothermal heating and Bjork and ponies with bangs and fuzzy ears.
