The centre of Enterprise Commitment with Recycling (CEMPRE) just announced the winners of its '+Design -Waste' award.
The 1st prize winner was Brazilian designer Adriano Carvalho, who developed a home trashcan to separate solid waste, produced with recycled plastic. It’s a three-in-one structure that would bring glamour to any minimalist apartment. Brazillian production starts in '006. 2nd place was for designer Fabíola Bergamo and her washbasin made with metal extracted from recycled toothpaste packages.
