City Wide Light Brite?
Are you in? Let's light it up. Rain City Light Team. First practice is the minute I get these in the mail. God, people have so many fucking hilarious ideas. I cease to exist when I think about Seattle covered in these. Oh and sorry about being a YouTube video ripping addict. What can I say? I'm into movement right now.Make Your Own LED Throwies Step-By-Step
Hobo Names
You know someone is on the same page with you when they tip you off to an hour long spoken word recording of a man reading off 700 hobo names.
This is a picture of John Hodgman, the New York scholar/comedian who you hear reading the Hobo names.
A google search will reveal that there is a whole 700 Hobo subculture out there. Here is a link to a flicker tag that groups pictures of Hobos. And, apparently you add an E when pluralizing the word Hobo? Who knew?

The FREE Frye!
Why is the FRYE SO GOOD? I went to The Frye today and each exhibition was stellar. The Frye Art Museum is truly great. The consistency of excellent exhibitions is astonishing. Seattle is lucky to have such a beautiful facility with forward thinking curation. I f'ing LOVE that place. Today, I was impressed by large scale photographic works by Candida Hofer, videos by Wynne Greenwood and a fascinating photographic survey of the life work of Marcel Moore and Claude Cahun. You should go. You should ALWAYS go there! Here is the link to their website. Bookmark that shit, because shit is tight.

Cute Attack!

Well, to cure you from your Seahawks Super Bowl blues The Brain Tru$t has decided to kick-off the week with a major cute offensive. WOOT! Get ready for the cuteness that is PerfectChildren. PerfectChildren is the brainchild of a Portland artist that goes by the name of Marc. His adorable creations look like little mutant babies. These goofy furry friends are the perfect the goth teen in your life, your best friend who was super annoyed by the fact that Jessica Simpson is alive and maybe your mysteriously silent co-worker. "Perfect Children are born of post-consumer waste, love and eyeballs". You can buy these hilarious plushies at Etsy.com!

Nina Garcia Should Like Plants

Oooms New Stick

Hey, I was surfing the web and found this hi-larious item. This USB memory STICK is like the 2006 version of the secret rock. You know, the fake rock that is actually a compartment for your housekey that you stash somewhere on your property so your pals and children can let themselves in the house. BRILLIANT! I saw this on the design magazine Core77. The creator of the item is Guido Oom. He is a hilarious guy who has invented oodles of items! Ooms
