Nothing makes me feel better than innovative architecture. I really enjoy stumbling upon buildings like the Allianz Arena by Swiss architects Herzog & De Meuron. This football stadium, located in Munich is fully enclosed by a translucent exterior wall that can be illuminated in different colors depending on who is playing a home game inside; red for the shirts of Bayern Munich, blue for the Munich 1860 team, and white for the German national team. Watch for the stadium during the 2006 World Cup as it will be home to the opening ceremony. This building is both gorgeous and functional while serving as a reminder to us all that good design can act as a signifier. Who would expect anything less from the hosts of Oktoberfest!

What's Up With Pocket Full of Monsters?
Friday's (12/16) Pocket Full of Monsters mixed media installation brought new works by notable Seattle artists such as Jilf, Peekaboo Monster, and Sua just to name a few. Matt from OlivoDoce was on the tables as would be buyers, heads, scenesters and contemporaries alike milled around the fabulous works like baseheads at The Carter. On hand were the likes of Bler One from San Francisco and INI Crew, Maikoiyo Alley-Barnes, BTM King Dimes and the sleeper of the year Darvin Vida and his lovely wife. We took time out from all of the mingling and free drinks to interview Shaun Diaz, one of the founders of the OlivoDoce Gallery, Damian from Cut Kulture United and man of the night, Peekaboo Monster.

Tunde Adebimpe!
This dude, Tunde Adebimpe from one of our favorite bands, TV On the Radio, plays the lead in this rad film about love. The Brain Trust wants you to see the film Jump Tomorrow (2001). If you like things that are good, beauty, cool cars, good design and dance routines you will want to live inside this movie.
